With 10 pounds of belly I would go 1/2 and 1/2 and see which method is better for you.  good luck.

I just dry rubbed a slab pig steak with Fat Boy's Cowgirl Rub...another good rub!

Third Eyes site is Playing with Fire and Smoke.  That is where I got my dry rub recipe I think.

His new site is ThirdeyeQ.com.  His dry rub is the best in my opinion.  He is also a BBQ judge I believe.  Good guy.  Curley's does have that rub pack I believe.  good luck.
