here's my bich
ok, I 'm usualy not a whiner when it comes to the weather, but I think we are getting ripped off >:(
last week, they told us the upcoming cold snap was going to last through monday night.

news flash...it's freaking wednesday night and it still freaking cold out!!
todays high was supposed to be like +12f, instead, even with the sunshine, it only got to +3f >:(
now it is -7f and heading down to -26f ???
tomorrow night is supposed to be at least -20f!
how the heck am I supposed to get anything done??
this coming weekend was supposed to be our light at the end of the tunnel.
I WANT A REBATE!!

Can you name anyother job, where you can be wrong 50% of the time or more and still not get fired...besides a weatherman?

 Jig, I know your in your low to mid 40s as am I, is it too late to take a little schooling and get one of them weatherman jobs?

 I'm ready to be wrong and get paid for it

I remember this fall when there was talk of not much log hauling going on, and Jiggle you were considering what you might do.  But I guess I didn't keep up after that.

So, did you get out of the log hauling business all together ?
Or is this a reference to there not being much demand from the mills right now?

Anyhow, best wishes in whatever endeavors you pursue.  There's always use for a good man who's a reliable worker.

It's been a challenging winter to say the least.
the weather doesnt bother me, I was just stirring the pot.
Mopho was just poking fun because I am out of work, never mind him he doesn't bother me.
I had a haul lined up and then the big guy came in and under cut me to the point where I wasn't going to jump in that game.
but now I have a new haul lined up and I can haul until the roads close unless the mill pulls the contract like they did last year.

it isn't much fun sitting up on that loader when it's - 15, but I sure do appreciate spring and the thaw when it comes :)
