Final Warning

Seems I cannot post anything that pertains to my pride as an american military vet at the "other site" I belong to. I recieved a final warning that my posts are not apropriate.  I guess their "general discussion" board is supposed to be about general fishing topics only.

Please tell me Im not gonna get banned here because I am a very proud retired military, gun owning voter who hates the Clinton Dem's and Buchann Rep's and doesn't mind calling a spade a spade or telling a naughty joke occasionally.

If your worried your kid/wife may read/see something bad,  type a naughty word into a google search and see whats available for them to see.

just dont TRY to push our buttons.
chances are, you know what pisses them off over "there"
and you are doing it anyway.
that's your choice.
I am happy that you are retired military. thank you for your service.
the fact that you have strong political opinions and often bring them to light is a good indication that you live here in the united states of america.
the fact that not everybody agrees with you is another good indication that we are all independant people with our own thought trains and opinions.
the fact that you are allowed to post some of that stuff here is a priveledge.
dont expect it.
this is a privately owned public useage based forum. just like the others.
we have worked hard to develope our format here. it has taken years of doing this stuff by many people to cypher out what the other sites are doing wrong.
that doesn't mean that we are going to let folks have a free for all, or "other site" bashing fest because we are more lenient.
just use common sense and try to keep it based on the outdoors.

sometimes we have to cross the line to find out where we want to imply our boundaries and I am talking about us as the staff.
lets just not make a habbit of pushing the boundaries.

i like to push the boundaries...maybe we need a new forum:  PUSHING THE LIMIT where things off topic can be discussed.  maybe not, that might be asking for trouble.
Fishahollik, I can honestly say no threads should be deleted here, not atleast with out any reason given.  And I haven't seen that yet.
Just use common sense.

I'm newer here but have been to numrous "other places" not fishing heavily but guns for the most part.

To be blunt if you want politics go to politics forum someplace.  All the "politics, jokes, nudy pics, etc, etc etc" just suck up bandwidth like crazy.  Then Spinach ( I think he is owner) will pay more money to operate.  Then the site becomes more patroled as the costs keep rising etc.  Sponsors have to pay more and then MNoutdoorsman will sell items to fundraise...all in the end to keep nude pics up or politics babble.

If you open a forum here dedicated to "politics and ANYTHING goes" you are already off MNoutdoorsman concept in my opinion.
As you indicated if you want to talk politics type politics into Google, see where it goes.

Vey well said CBXboy. My feelings exactly, there are plenty of political forums out there. On a side note, bashing of other sites is unacceptable on MNO, we may not agree with the way some other sites are ran, but in the end, we have 2 choices. Live with the rules or never visit them again.

It is nice to see that some of us are on the same page.  If you post within the guidelines of whatever site you are using you will never have a problem.  It continues to amaze that some post here bitching about other sites, yet they not only continue to frequent them daily, but often attend their gatherings.

I do not see any where in paul's post where he refered to any one person.

he simply stated his viewpoint and complimented us in our manor of handling things on our site.

other site bashing IS common practice. we do not do it here.
we simply do not give a hoot what the other sites think and we do things our way.
if they happen to agree with our way of thinking or not is entirely up to them and anyone else for that matter.

lets just post and have fun. thats the key ingredient that seems to be missing on other sites in my opinion and I do not want that to happen here.

If anyone has a problem with this site or any others, please discuss this with them via email or some other way, MNO will not be used or abused with site bashing or personal problems.

I do not have the time to monitor these types of threads, nor does any of our staff members, please find another source for your frustration.

That in no way was aimed at you or actually anyone in particular.  If that is how you took it, I'm sorry, but I'm not even sure of who you are.  Again it was just a general statement.
