 :Photography: Photo of the Year!

God bless our troops! :USA:

 :coffee: .....
You'll never see this picture on the front of Time Magazine, or any other magazine.

We see lots of pictures of wounded male veterans,

but women vets get wounded and maimed too.
You may need to take a second closer look though.

The first thing I saw was a bunch of beautiful smiles.

Study this picture again.
Let the story it tells sink in.

These women and many others, as well as their male comrades,

paid the price for our freedom.

And, they did it for less than what welfare recipients are paid!

DID YOU GET THAT?

There is more patriotism and class in those 11 ladies pictured

than the majority of Congress,

and

a HECK of a lot more than those

over-paid athletes who choose

to "take a knee" when the National Anthem is played!

They risked these injuries (or death) FOR YOU and ME, AMERICA!

:USA: GOD BLESS THEM ALL! :USA:

What do you mean?

Our now ex-Senator (his resignation only just became official yesterday) supported the troops by entertaining them in the USO.

P.S.  I wonder what additional benefits Franken receives by making his resignation effective after the first of the year.

Yes, God bless our troops and heaven help the rest of us who have to suffer the idiots in Washington.

  SO  :sorry:

Sorry Gang! I received that from my nephew who happens to be a retired lifetime military vet.  I can just imagine how badly he feels after sending that on to his vet friends. :doah:

This photo is an outtake from a You Tube production of a song called I Am A Warrior.  If you can listen to this song and not be stirred to patriotism, there's something wrong.  Special thanks to all our vets here.  You are a very special group.

I wonder what would happen if someone started the JTN Network - Just The News - where they did news old school; none of this celebrity infotainment crap.

They would report facts and events in a fair and impartial manner without sensationalization, hidden agendas, or spin doctoring.

Oh wait, they have that.  Its the PBS News Hour and I never watch it.

Never mind.
