Another check on the bucket list.

Headed to the Rainy River Friday after work.  Hit the water at sunrise and headed to the mouth of the river on lake of the woods.  15 min after anchoring my friend got a bite and the battle was on. 20 min later we landed a 57 inches.  Next bite was my turn so I was a little jacked up.  We watched all the other boats around us catchcatch multiple fish.  After 3 hours of nothing I finally get a bite and land a 40 incher.  We had several other other big fish on but never boated another big fish.  I will be back next year.  Sturgen fight harder than any other fish I have caught.
