It's opener weekend!
Best wishes to all our guys headed out for the walleye opener this spring.  It sounds like the spawn is a little late this year with the late ice.  I hope everyone has a good time and makes some great memories.

The water's very cold yet guys-keep those life jackets on and be safe.  As for me, I'll be skipping the opener this year.  One of my employees asked for the weekend off, and I'm working for her.  I don't mind.  I've got all summer.   Seems like this will be the first Mother's Day in about 20 years where my wife will actually see me on Mother's Day.  She's not complaining!

Mother's Day, anniversary both this weekend got to the cabin in time for a campfire pre opener! Jimmys for breakfast in a few minutes(Walker,Mn), get some bait then hope the boat floats!   Good luck everyone going out!

well  the boys just got done getting my dock and lift in the lake!!  now to get the boat up and running!!

Ugly, cold, cloudy, rainy 55* day here in Swampville. This sucks.  I'm sick of it. :angry2:

Mama caught the biggest but walleyes were biting even with no wind!  I'm holding but she caught this 26".  Nice eaters also caught.
