i just read where the Twins fired manager Paul Molitor. this really pizzes me off!!!!!!!!!!! :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :confused: :mad1: :censored: :censored: what the hell is he supposed to do with a mediocre roster and all the good players get traded away.

when they built that new stadium them screw job money gluten Pohlands promised field a good competative team. yea right!!!!!!! :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :angry2:

 sounds like he  will have a different position within the organization, but still.............................

Yep, not Paul's fault.

This may not make sense until they announce his successor.

This team ain't going no where unless Sano and Buxton live up to expectations.  I wasn't Paul's fault that these guys under-perform and can't stay healthy, but maybe the management change is being done to try something different with these critical players.

Pisses me off to! Paul led this young inexperienced second half team to a .500 record after we traded away everyone with potential value at the trade deadline. What the hell!

Ya, I don't know what they expected with the aforementioned players underachieving due to injury along with their habitual signing of retread pitchers and free agent power hitters (think Morrison) who seldom if ever pan out. The last one worth a crap was Thome for crissake! Reading some news releases, the consensus is that the Twins are entering a rebuilding phase. Entering? Hell, they've been in it since Santana had his day in the sun! I realize Molly was not their guy but what the hay? They wanna put butts in seats, Falvey and Levine better come up with a better product and be damn quick about it or they should be the next to go. They've shown me nothing so far.  :angry2:

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Lots of experienced major talent for managers out there. Constantly trying to catch that new up and coming manager on the cheap is like trying to hit the top of the grain market every year. It seldom if ever happens! Not impressed with either of these two clowns.  :mad1:

I don't know that they are trying to do it on the cheap.  I think they are trying to prove that it can be done their way with their guy that they chose.

I don't disagree Steve-O that they're trying to do it "their way" but seriously, do you see anybody on that list of candidates so far that looks like it'll take big bucks to get them here? I don't.
