Man I am enjoying the lettuce garden I made.  3' x 7' of lettuce.  Mixed 3 kinds together and just sprinkled it on the dirt and raked in lightly.  I go out every other night with scissors and cut lettuce and rinse it off.  At first it was the size of spinach but now it is getting a lot bigger and growing back from where I have already cut.  Our celery is getting big too and we cut some of that for each nights salad too.  No cukes big enough yet I don't think but will check them better today.  No red tomatoes yet neither.

Yeah, same here but we don't can that much anymore. Don't think any of our rings look like yours though. Only real garden (raised) is up here with lettuce, green onions, peas, potatoes, tomatoes, & some raspberry bushes,

i throw them away before it gets that bad ya dipstick!!!!!!!!!! heck i think i've thrown out 10 of them already this year!!!!!!!

last night i picked and pulled the last of my dill. seriously thinking of pulling my green beans, i will wait till the weekend to decide as i  think they may or usually have a round 2. i only have 7 qts of pickled green beans.


pulling the dill last night all of a sudden made me realize summer is quickly vanishing.

Hey, one ponce a time, I did a fair job with my flowers and maters.  This year, my seeds just didn't cooperate starting in the basement.  Not sure what happened.  I used to get compliments on my yard.

Just picked 3 small cukes.  Gonna have a great salad tonight.  We have so much lettuce that this morning we made smoothies.  Put a wad of lettuce, with a bit of water and blend till no chunks.  Then add 1/2 banana and a jag of frozen raspberries cuz that is what we had and blended up in our Ninja.  Tasted great.  May add yogurt next time.  I really liked it.
