Ya mount one of the cheap car trackers systems inside a cabinet. Every shack should have one. Got one on my truck. Never could figger out why folks spend 20G on a shack but not on one of these.

How often do you recharge the battery. It says it last 2 weeks. I would like to have those for my trail cams. Just so I could catch the bastards that are taking my stuff from the woods.

The one I had did not,  but it's no longer available, either.

For cars, I know LoJack has no monthly fees, and they are directly linked to the cops. But, they're a tad more than $50, too.

They usually have to be insured under an RV policy, either as an addition or rider, or separate policy.

Yup mine is covered.  Almost all cars and trucks are covered on the ice too.  Very rare for a policy to not cover it.  I asked my insurance guy about that once.  I said what about some idiot that goes out on the ice to early and the truck goes down.  He said Barry very few go through.  Just think we cover those idiots all year round whilst they are on the highways.  That is more dangerous in the long run.
