We had a pretty good weekend with mostly limits of eyes and quite a few bonus slabs.
Mark Shatek of Cedar Falls, IA caught a beautiful 36" gator. Pix of him and some of the other groups are coming.

Yesterday WestWind moved the bridge again because of the huge ice heaves. With the rain and the snow coming the fishing has slowed down a little but you never know what tonight or tomorrow will bring.

Beaver came up last Friday and is going to stay until the houses come off the ice on Sunday or Monday. He wasn't up last year but I know there are a lot of people that remember him from past years so if you're in the area stop in and say hi. I don't know who has more stories and bs - Russ or Beaver  ;)

Russ is taking the houses off this weekend because of walleye and northern season closing Sun. Feb 25.
I'm sure we will be up sometime in March and hope to see some of you then.

Good luck this weekend Russ.  I hope the storm is kind to you and you get everything in okay w/o trouble.  Please tell the Beav and yer prutty Wife that the Doc says hello ;D.

I was hoping to be up this weekend but Lizzy got sick and kept me up most of the night and home today. And the rest of the crew thought better of temping the triangle with the forcast and all :o.

I may be passing through there on a LOW trip with Liz on the 9th to the 11th.  Hope to see you then.

Take Care - Doc

PS - watch out for Woody

I think I may have seen you on the road Russ-dark blue truck w/plow? We both waved at one another as I was headed out-you heading in on Saturday.  I had a GREAT weekend up there-my report will follow.  Hung out at the temple Sat. night-but didn't recognize a soul (as I'm a noob).   ::)

Bummer I was unable to make it Woody.  We would have had a stellar time no doubt :o.

Can't wait to hear your report.

I am planning on taking my daughter fishing in a couple of weeks and hopefully there will still be few willing fish to be had on the pond.
