since I know jack sheet about electronics I gotta ask.

our TV went out up at the cabin during a nasty azz storm this spring. is there any TV's out there now that can take the temp swings, we do not heat the cabin all winter, just start the furnace when we get there, shut it off when we leave. same with the power.

not looking for a 54 inch, just a small little feller. any ideas??????????? best place to look???????????

Yup I agree Glenn.  It is nice to get away but it is also nice to have some entertainment even if it is the news.  I know buddies that leave flat screen TV's that are a few years old in the cabin and use them year after year.  Maybe they let them warm up but I don't know for sure.

I use a 32" flat screen in my fish house Got to watch football ya know. I have had it in there for 4-5 years now and still going strong. I believe the brand is an APEX.

We have had a flat screen TV at our cabin for years and it lives there in the unheated cabin all winter.   We had a proscan 24 inch with built in DVD player for a number of years but something finally went goofy and it would go black for a few seconds every few minutes.  So we replaced it with a much larger 27 inch LG.   That one hasn't been through any winters.

Our former neighbors would go the florida in the winter and turn off the heat.  Their big flatscreen survived fine while they were gone.

If your tv died it could have been from some sort of power glitch during the storm.   Also remember to let your electronics come to above freezing temps for a while and be there long enough to let any condensation evaporate.   Water and electronics are not a good combination.
