There was a possum around here in the fall.   Guess I could have vacuum sealed it and given it a bath...   How do you like it done if another one were to show up?  Or do you prefer racoon?

God, were we really supposed to eat this stuff?!  :puke:

I could never figure out what the obsession was with lime Jello or for that matter lime or green Kool Aid. Any other flavor but not that one. Both the green Jello and Kool Aid were staples at family gatherings on my Dad's side. I hated green Lifesavers as a result and threw them away when I came to across them in the roll. Was it just whatever was left in the cupboard that their own families didn't like or did someone actually enjoy something that tasted like nothing found in nature? Will probably remain one of the great unsolved mysteries as I'm down to one uncle left.

Stuff made with the real limes or lemons I'm fine with. Check out this caipirinha recipe from my friend Heitor in Brazil:

Caipirinha

- One lime, quartered (or sicilian lemon).

- 2 or 3 tablespoons of raw sugar (dark brown sugar)

Place lime wedges and sugar in a glass. With a muddler press down (gently) and twist the limes to release the juice. Add ice cubes, then cachaça and stir. Fill up with ice.

No fake lime here!  :rotflmao:

When the alien hit me I though maybe a vodka 7 or a vodka tonic with a slice of lime would be good.  They didn't have a single lime at the grocery store.  ?????   The supplier forgot to bring them.  Wouldn't ya know.

Grab the Realime in the squirt bottle...I use it when I cook mexi or lime cilantro chicken. In the veggie section.

Spaghettios & Jello? I better grab that first cup of coffee and hope this is either just a bad dream or one helluva hangover! OMG!!!

Looks like there's some bacon on what's right in front of me but the rest of that stuff is highly suspect. :undecided:

When we touch down in I Falls to fuel up & for groceries the limes at County Market are typically cheaper than what we can buy them for locally. Last time we got some they were like 50 cents apiece or some ridiculous price. Of course we get to the cabin in Canada and there are 40 of them already there!  Last lime I got here was $1.09 and had brown crud in places on the rind, meaning it's not going to last long. Of course they usually don't anyway, it's just the principle of the thing.
