Welcome home to the members of the 934th Airlift Wing, returning to Minneapolis after their most recent deployment to the Middle East.  The Flying Vikings are a pleasant and reassuring sight over the Twin Cities area as they fly their training missions in their iconic C-130's. Always training, always ready to answer the call.  For those inspired to serve, we say Thank You Very Much, welcome home.

Time itself is bought and sold, the spreading fear of growing old contains a thousand foolish games that we play. (Neil Young)

Oh training.  Someone told me they were flying Black ops on us civilians, along with the Black helo's!      :rotflmao:
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!

I grew up in Northeast Ohio, just south of the Youngstown Area.  There was a unit of C-130's based out of the Youngstown Airport, and occasionally they made training flights out over our area.  They came over my sister's house one day while my niece was laying out in the yard in her bikini getting some sun.  Suddenly it seemed like their neighborhood became a regular destination for the "training" flights.  Funny-that stopped when the fall weather set in!
