I found this on social media and thought I would share here.  Thanks to the guys doing the cleanup, but how can those leaving the mess call themselves "outdoorsman"????

Check out these hogs Travis Tank and I caught out on Gull Lake. After only two hours of fishing we managed to fill fours bags and pounded the big ones off the ice. All jokes aside it's pretty disgusting having to pick up other people's garbage and bags of human Sh!t off the ice. It's honestly sad how much garbage there is on our Minnesota lakes and how people that call themselves anglers can disrespect our greatest natural resource. It's not hard to pick up after ourselves, but apparently there's a mentality that someone else will do it. I'm so fed up with it and should only have to worry about my own garbage. I'm not going to drag this post on because I could go on and on. So my message to everyone is to be stewards of the land.

There has got to be a way to crack down on these pigs.

Looks like a lot of Permy wheel house blocking. Probably their trash as well.  :mad1:

Unfortunately, it's not just the lakes.  Parking lots are just as bad, but at least in the parking lots, it doesn't contaminate them.

:taz: :banghead: This is the exact reason that I'm NOT a big fan of wheel houses. Even on our little lake it's an issue & not many of them are able to get out there usually. :angry2:

agreed ,P.I.G.s,city/metro area lakes are worse most often, usually get a trailer full off bald eagle, pizza boxes cases of empty beer,1lb propane bottles galore, our dnr tries they're best taking pics ,recording problem shacks but alot offolks use wheel houses these days or portables so its hard to tag offenders.Parking lot dumpsters are usually over flowing as well, not sure if the city hauls trash thru out the season? seems like the only pickup is in the spring.SAD deal
