:reporter; New Ohio rules require masks on charter boats:

 :tut: ......
CLEVELAND, OHIO — Fishermen who head out on Lake Erie aboard a charter boat today are now required to wear a face covering, according to the new mask and travel order announced by Gov. Mike DeWine. One of the first to acknowledge that guides, mates and customers will be required to wear a face covering was Drawbridge Marina, the Port Clinton party fishing boat operation.

“Our preliminary data indicate that the rate of increase in new cases has slowed in the high-risk counties where masks are already mandated, so we are cautiously optimistic that things are heading in the right direction,” said Gov. DeWine.

Ohio also announced that out-of-state anglers coming to fish for Lake Erie walleye must quarantine for 14 days at a home or hotel if they’re coming from states reporting positive COVID-19 testing rates of 15 percent or higher. Those states right now are Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Nevada, South Carolina and Texas.
