Flipped over to it a few times & it never really looked like the Gopher's were ever really in it. They struggled on both sides of the ball all day.

Up 28 - 21 at half after being down 21 - 7. Horrid defense. Slow and out of position. Other than that they're great.  Need to keep their offense on the field grinding away eating clock and hope the defense can limit Maryland to field goals or hope they miss like they did before half.

Halftime it's 28-21 gophers. Didn't start out to good. Gophers defense has a lot to be desired but the Maryland QB is pretty darn good.

So seems Mary-land changed their offense strategy correctly and MN changed their defense strategy incorrectly.  Just like the Vikes!  Before the game a buddy texted me about the game.  He said well this is the last sports team in MN that is any good.      He didn't answer when I texted him in the 4th quarter.  I think he went to bed.

When Maryland started the comeback I told Mrs. Cheviot the Gophers are toast. Not only do they have no defense they have no kicking game. Why on god's green earth with a weapon like Seth Green they didn't go for two in the OT is beyond me.

Just stumbled across the game. Nebraska just scored, 10-7. Your boy PJ better slink outa town under the cover of darkness if he dumps a game to these guys. The Nebraska fans are the only ones in the country that hang onto their past more than Gopher fans.
