They were biting but would just play with the bait.  We had over 20 "flags" but only caught 6 fish.  Most simply took the bait and went about 10 feet and dropped it.  My brother was in his house fishing for crappies and saw the same thing.  Nords simply swam by the bait only a few nipped at it.  Same with crappies.  He did catch a few but the vast majority either ignored the bait or just looked at it.  It would be some great fishing when they turn on to actually biting. 

I took this early before the sun warmed things up.  It actually was a very pleasant day on the lake.
