Is it too early to start talking about what everyone will be doing for this years opener??

I will be on Mille Lacs staying at our place in Macs Twin Bay. I'll be sleeping in, spending some time on the water pretending like I am fishing while drinking a few cold pops and then I will probably take an afternoon nap and hit the evening bobber bite and then I will head into Buzzies and switch from pop to an adult beverage. I probably won't catch anything but I will have a blast like I do every opener! ;) The real opener will be the next weekend ;)

All I ask for this year is some decent weather for once!!!!!!!!

If we have the crap that we had the last couple years I PROMISE YOU I will not even launch the boat!

No idea, the weather, ice off and water level will play into where I'll be on opener

Cass as usual... but being it's not a great opener lake, maybe a run to Red also.

Good Luck!

HOPEFULLY Grand Rapids with my guide Hogeye's.  He has promissed me that we will get bored with catching walleyes.  ::) Then off to some small pond like lakes sight fishing bullgills for some catch photo release.

Right now my opener is up in the air.  It depends on a few things-weather, if my folks make it back from Florida by then, and if I get the boat I am working on buying!  Other than that-if I don't go fishing, I'm sure there's something on the neverending Honeydoo list to do!  ::)

Maybe head up to Lake Mazaska or Shields Lake around Faribault area with my son. We spend a few hours this afternoon trolling through Cabela's and Fleet Farm fishing aisle. Cabela's was packed...they had their Spring Fishing Expo this weekend with some Pro Fisherman and Cabela's Pro Staff in attendance.
