The pc I seen on the evening news said the same thing about the pacemaker, but it added that there was pill bottle found by her.

There have been several reports that the pills found near his wife were Tylenol and thyroid pills.

I was surprised to see that George Foreman passed. I still remember some of his fights. I still confuse him with Chuck Foreman.
I used to be cute and adorable. Then, I had my first birthday. Been downhill ever since.

George actually seemed like a good guy.  Was fun to watch his grill commercials.  Had some good fights too.

A buddy of mine had one and brought it on a camping trip.  We teased the heck out of him but it worked great!

I've has one a long time. Haven't used it much since we put our patio in but it was nice when the winter weather was obnoxious. I remember watching George win his Olympic gold in 1968. May he RIP.

Just heard a piece on the radio about him. His agent had to talk him into endorsing the grill. It was some kind of financing deal where there wasn't any money up front and George didn't want to do it. In the beginning he would get an occasional check for $5,000 or so. Then the grill sales took off, some other company bought the grill company and bought out Georges interest in the early to mid 90's he got a check for $137 1/2 million.  :rotflmao: In todays money about 1/4 billion.

R.I.P. George.

I just read a couple of neat quotes from him...

“I have behaved poorly. I have behaved bravely. I have behaved bizarrely to some. I deny none of this and have no regrets because I have lost and found parts of myself that I never knew existed,” he says toward the end of “Val,” the 2021 documentary on his career. “And I am blessed.”

“In an unflinching attempt to empower directors, actors and other collaborators to honor the truth and essence of each project, an attempt to breathe Suzukian life into a myriad Hollywood moments, I had been deemed difficult and alienated the head of every major studio,” he wrote in his memoir, “I’m Your Huckleberry.”

Yup, quite an actor. Had to love him in Tombstone & even though the movie received a lukewarm reception, The Doors. Despite Oliver Stone's embellishment of some events, Val Kilmer was a dead ringer for Jim Morrison, even when singing. Even The Doors band members couldn't tell if it was Val of Jim doing the singing.
