Just to get a up to date Twins thread going now that the season is over half over.

Won their 3rd series in row, 1st time all year, all from the teams that are leading their divisions in the AL yday. Too late to save this season but the young starters they've called up have been given them a chance to win most of the time & the bullpen that has been patched together with players they've picked up on waivers has been better as well. Bats & defense has been more consistent too.

They'd of lost yday's game earlier this year as the "D" wasn't very good, committing 4 errors. However the pitching staff had their back with only giving up 2 earned runs, the bats were working good too with the 14 hits. A little better with RISP(2 for 11 with 15 LOB) & it wouldn't have even been a game.

Food for thought......just imagine how many double plays Sano could hit into if he could hit the ball.   


The guy is a waste of space.

  More HR's & just as many RBI's as Donaldson who is making almost twice the money($21 vs $11 mil) as Sano.

They won their 4th series in a row yday by beating Cleveland 8-7 in a game. A series with NYY starts today, out there.

What do you guys think of Jack Morris getting suspended? I just listened to the video of what he said 

Sheez grow a pair.  personally I didn't think it was bad enough to get suspended indefinitely. He did apologize.

I just watched SNL where they did a skit mocking "white boyz in the hood" and walking and talking "like whites"....didn't bother me one bit. Actually thought it was pretty funny. Like Glenn Frey said in the song...."GET OVER IT!" Gotta pick at everything little thing everyone says. Big whoop! I heard it too!
