can't believe 40 to 50k Americans still trapped in that shetehole,agreed LP they had months to va---cate,no excuse,but how this entire shete show withdrawal unfolded is a shame,sending our troops back in to this mess is a disaster waiting to happen,these 3rd world dirt bags could careless about themselves let alone anyone else.

The other night cnn recap had one of they're worthless lying reporters (some gal) in a burka telling folks that these taliban ppl seem nice,then in the background her producer was get pistol whipped...make no mistake,this report was a re-run on news-max.

I'll admit to not following all this too close, but depending on why American's were in Afghanistan in the first place, getting out the country in the same timeframe as the US troop pull-out may have been more complicated than packing a suitcase and leaving.

But in hindsight, that might have been the prudent move considering that Afghan forces folded faster than Sadam's Republican Guard.

Mayor here already saying Welcome them! #1 hot topic in this town is all the homeless, and no housing.  Been going back in forth with city to lease an unused fire station to house and feed 'em, was just granted a lease until next Spring to do it. We were inundated when all the Somalis filtered in here; how  are we gonna support more?! They're trying to deal with the homeless camps under bridges, in the woods, behind old buildings and such now! There is almost no affordable housing, so ya bring in more people with no jobs or money!  If you don't have the housing, the money, the infrastructure, why would you even attempt it? Yer just adding fuel to the already burning fire! Talk about how things filter down! :banghead:
