Only thing I've seen so far is there still looking for the suspects.

Guess kung Jung Walz was supposed to have a press conference nearby that ended up getting cancelled.

They probably wanted to get more information before he went all Gun control during the conference. He will never blame gangs.   :doah:

This is the place those thugs shot up.

The mission of Intermediate District 287 South Education Center is to creatively meet the diverse and changing needs of learners through cooperatively delivered, high-quality, cost-effective services. TSP’s design incorporates flexibility with spaces that enhance learning options for a non-traditional student body—students transitioning from high school to the work place and independent living, autistic students, high school students needing an alternative learning environment, students with children who benefit from the on-site childcare center, and students with behavior and emotional problems.

Hate respects no boundaries.

Lets not label them thugs yet. They could be disgruntled Democrat's who haven't gotten their check yet.     ;)

That's an elementary school isn't it? Why would anyone shoot a couple little kids on the sidewalk in front of the school?

It is a part of the school preparing kids for getting jobs and entering the real world.  I think it was the kid who died second day there.  His father is the Rice that is in jail for trying to intimidate the judge in the recent Potter case.  Both suspects have been caught at homes in Minneapolis and the handgun was found there too.  SO it sounds like they brought their world to this school.   Too bad too.

Sounds like excellent police work!  They are true professionals amidst persecution and conflict.   :police: :happy1:

Officers made the arrests after executing simultaneous search warrants at two Minneapolis addresses, a news release from Richfield police said. Authorities also recovered a handgun, it added. The release did not provide any additional information on the suspects.
"Officers are not looking for any additional suspects, but continue to process evidence related to the shooting," the release said.

Given that it was Jamari's second day in the school, and that his father, Cortez, is in jail for threatening Judge Regina Chu, I wonder if Jamari was trying to flee from some conflict in his old school, which followed him here.

I grew up in Richfield. It was once the biggest suburb of Minneapolis. Encapsulated parts of Bloomington, St. Louis Park, Edina and South Minneapolis. Great place back then. Most of the homes wer built after WW11. The Richfield American Legion post has been historically the largest membership in the United States. However, it trended into a bastion of liberals. In the late 1980's the city council decided to turn over the houses left for tax forfeit to poor unfortunates from Chicago and Mpls. because "they deserve to live in a nice place like Richfield too" The Hockey program produced the likes of Steve Christoff and Darby Hendrickson. There is no Hockey program in Richfield at all today. The High school once had a huge memorial plaque that held the names of our Graduates from wars mostly Viet Nam that were KIA. It mentioned God and the new clientele complained it was offensive, so it was removed. You reap what you sow.

Wrong!  If you lived in Mpls or in the cities you would know this is a "Last resort" school for troubled teens that are on the edge of being expelled or have from the Reg district schools.  But, the web site, brochures, and News make it sound like its for a bunch of hardworking do gooders going for their higher education!   :rotflmao: :bs:

I reckon the school is a catch-all for all sorts of behaviors and special needs - good and bad.

Has anyone heard why these two thugs targeted Jahmari Rice in the shooting?

Yeah, why did these two have a beef with Rice?  Is this just another example of immoral, rudder-less young men settling a dispute or insult with guns instead of walking away?  Are gangs involved?

Stay tuned.
