I saw a boxelder bug outside the office a little bit ago. Climate change. Proof positive. Be afraid. Be very afraid. 😨

Yep the snow is going fast here.  Bout the only thing I'm not looking forward to is the trees will bud soon and all the crap that falls. Where I trimmed the maple last fall it's oozing with sap today.

I've found a couple that came back to life in our basement windows in the last week or so. With that wind our downspouts on the garage were runnin big time here today. We had almost 50* for a high by ~ 2:30-3:00 before the temps started going the other way.

My 10 day is saying 35* & wintry mix for Tuesday am, 70% chance with 1-3" of snow & ice accumulating. Then 25* overnight with a 60% chance of 1-3" of snow.

I don't know about the rest of you urban dog owners, but this warm spell is causing a seasons-worth of Poop Soup to thaw out in my back yard.   :puke:

Yuck, I had one that did that years ago. I'm out all winter playing fetch so it gets picked up,  some gets missed but the majority is gone.

I have read this and hope it is true cuz Cooper does now and then too, that they like the frozen poopsicle but not the summer ones.  Hoping that is the case.  Yes us rural dog owners have a lot of it too.  Looking real bad yesterday.  When it dries up I pull my 4' old drag around with a pallet behind it and it breaks them up nicely.  I like doing it.  Kind of a spring ritual. Smooths out plow marks too.

Didn't have to use the snow blower much so there are lots of Ruby terds that didn't get blown into the road ditch like the past several years. Spotted this specimen the other day on the way to the barn. She apparently consumed a lamb's tail after it fell off with the green rubber band still attached.

The dogs love running around eating up all the rabbit drops.

No wonder folks gross out when dogs kiss (lick) them.  They know what is really going on.
