Honestly, it’s been quite a few years since I got out and chased cock around…in rural MN at least.  Not sure what’s happening up north, but numbers looking good there too! With good pheasant numbers, I’m hoping to get the new pup out. For a lab, she’s proven to be a great pointer and less of a retriever.

I did see two hens with small chicks Monday morning and I'm guessing they've had a second brood here. (on the serious side here)

seen about 8 hens late yesterday afternoon coming back from LP..  almost hit one...   good to see them!!
