The 24/7 radar had a lot of pink on it when I 1st turned it on this morning. It looked to be all the way from the ND border over by Scenic & quite a way south to all the way over to Duluth. The lids to the recycle bins were kind of heavy from the ice & we had about 1" on the ground ~ 6 this morning. We're kind of in a lull now but it looks to be wrapping around & picking up again about 7:30. Another 2" is expected before it's done around 3 or 4.

:snow4: Coming down pretty good right now.................looks like big flakes too. All pink on 511mn from Walker up JB's direction & almost as bad from Bemidji east through the Arrowhead. A lot of slushy roads on the plow cameras too, good thing we're not going anywhere.

Looks like we might get some later this afternoon but as of right now less than an inch.  We do have some ice under the snow but not much of it.   Wind is picking up a bit now.

Enough rain to get sidewalks & roads wet. Think we'll head someplace to eat after a bit.  :coffee:

Just stepped out back again & there must be close to another 3" out there from when I scraped it clean this am. Radar looks like it's almost past us, still got big flakes coming down here though.

I seen 1 report of almost 3.5" just SW of us & another of just over 2" to the NE. I'm guessing we're closer to the 1st #.

We managed .01" of rain yesterday at the ranch & in Bugtussle with a few snowflakes mixed in after lunch. Keeping an eye on the upcoming weekend weather. So far we're predicted to be on the warm/rain side of the system. It's a long way out yet so anything could happen.  :coffee:

Did ours along with part of our road up to the corner where we hit CR 35 & was climbing off the Grizzly in about 45 minutes. I measured 4" & it was a little wet underneath, so I took it pretty easy.

I'm leavin' the blower on the tractor until I have to move another round bale. Should be a few days yet. Leaving it where it's easy to get at just in case. I never trust the weather this time of year. I see they've already slipped that "S" word into the forecast for here on Sunday.  :doah:

Some of ours disappeared yday, by Thursday most of it will probably be gone. Just in time for some more on Friday probably. Freezing rain early, switching to rain, & then back to freezing rain & snow late Friday is what the 10-day says. Not much accumulation though.
