Pike and walleye upgrade.  I really thought I had a bass photo. I guess I screwed myself not adding one of those today too.

My best local bass 21.5"
and Rainy Lake Ontario from September 23.
Rained every minute I was there but could not keep these things off my red Hybrid Hunter.
There are other guys from IDO who may join who are FAR MORE proficient than I but it has been a good summer/Fall so far.
Even got my first "double" this year.

Love the mechanics of the site.  Easy to find where I "was" as well.
Now if I could just engage the brain and think while using it it'll be even better.

Typically I only measure fish just to see what they are but don't photograph them. I weigh the odd fish just to learn a little better on what a 2 or 3 or 4 pounder might look like for the future.
My big bass was 21.5'.  I weighed him as I had caught one the same size on the same lake 2 weeks prior.  Definitely a different fish as this one had some pretty discernible markings. He hit 5.4 lbs on my scale. Looked "old" to me.
4 feet of water, bright sunlight, at noon on a  1-3' diving squarebill crank- translucent color - Hybrid Hunter (same lure as the one in the picture - or what's left of it after 2 days of Rainy Lake smallmouths and Northerns)  Pretty calm water right in front of a downed willow tree. On the second to last dock we were gonna fish before leaving.  Thought I had snagged the tree - a nice surprise.
