It's taken quite a while with a few false starts, but I can finally see some results. The winter rye is growing and being eaten by the deer.
I watched three does feed for half an hour and then trot off. It's good to see something growing and being eaten after the very dry year we had.

Ya. It will be interesting to see what the food plots look like this weekend. I haven't been there since we put them in.

Nice to see. Cereal rye is some tough stuff. A lot of it being used as part of a cover crop system now so deer have even more to eat here, as if they needed something more.  :doah:
