In 2017 my son and I built him an elevated stand that we put a pop up ground blind over the top of it. He has used it every year since and had a lot of success from it. At the end of last year he said he wanted to put new legs on it, lower it and move it 20 yards back next to an evergreen tree. Well he hurt his back (herniated disc) that requires surgery in November. So, my parents and I gave his stand a refresh, lowered it, and moved it to the new spot he wanted. Sadly, my son is going to miss hunting this year, but the stand is ready for his next hunt. The first pictures are from when we original built it. We used pine trees from our property as the legs. The last two pictures are from the stand itself form its new location looking at his little clover plots.

Yes, our family has a couple cabins on the Tamarack River that flows into URL and our hunting property is SE of there.
