we still have ice...
but it is turning black now... there is some open water around the islands and the shore. i wouldn't be surprised if it went out this coming weekend... that's a whole month early then normal.   it will affect the fishing come opener.

I just hope it's a south or west or any combo of that, wind when it takes the ice off...
