Man did i see alot of deer moving around late this afternoon on the way home from work.

I had a group of 4 cross the road in front of me right across the road from Rochester Intl Airport around 6pm. About 10 minutes later, 7 ran across the road just up ahead of me into an open field from a nearby woods-joining a group of about 8-10 already in the field that I could not get a total count on as i passed. Then, another couple miles down the road 3 more standing in the ditch along the road.

I am ready for Deer Opener tonight !!!

I know what you are saying Realtree.  My favorite time of year is deer hunting.  I start getting excited for the next deer hunting season about a day after the most recent season closes.  :)

Me too OJ. Since I wasn't able to get out with my party last year for the first time in 16 or so years, I am going through some major withdrawal right now seeing all these deer all over the place. I think I better run out to Cabela's today and look around...try to get a little FIX for my addiction. LOL

Have a great weekend buddy.  ;)  ;D

At about 9:30 this morning I was sitting in my house and I happened to look out the front window and to my surprise there was a huge deer standing there. I took a better look and saw 3 deer standing right in my yard 30 feet from my window. Good to see my friends back!! Its like they have been hibernating. They had vanished for about 3 months there!

You'll be getting some posted soon Leech. I will be carrying my camera in the car with me to and from work from now on.

I'm surprised that Mayfly didn't get some of the ones in front of his picture window.

Hey nice pics.  Thats always nice to see at lunch time.  We've had a couple of malards visiting lately.

I love my camera.  Its a Kodak Z 740.  Its got 10X optical zoom (ignore digital zoom).  A guy at work was telling me about some Sony but I forgot the model #.  He said it has a stabelization deal so when you're zoomed WAAAY out, it will hold the picture more steady for you.  My Kodak cost around $300 or so.  I didn't think it was too expensive and it works real well for an average guy.  I like downloading pictures straight from the camera or a memory card (be sure to get one of those) and skip the software that comes with it.  That just caused me problems.

Later.
