After careful consideration and the MNO Staff reading through all of the "tips" posts, we have chosen a winner.

This tip came in from MNO member "guythathunts"

*quote*This is a tip to keep your ice holes open in a permanant fish house. Just take the largest metal Coffey can that will fit in the hole and sink it in the water a few inches (you can use a rock or anything else you have laying around to weigh the can down). When you come back the can will be frozen in the hole. Just take a small piece of newspaper and light it in the can. It doesn't take much paper or a huge flame (a normal sunday paper should last all season). Closepins and Coffey cans... what else do you need?
