My First Open Water Report of The Year!
Well I made it out for the first time in 2007!  :rock:

I hit the Mississippi River today in search of some walleyes. I launched at Hidden Falls and headed up to the dam with no luck. We fished the area pretty good but didn't catch a thing which is unusual for fishing in the river. Usually you'll get something! We used jigs tipped with shiners, fatheads and even tried the ol' gulp. Talked to a few other anglers who were having the same results. It was nice to get out, hopefully better luck next time.
