I am exicited to announce the newest addition to the MNO Field Staff team.  Please help me welcome BearGuide (John Hedstrom) to MNO.

I asked John to share a little info about himself.  So, here it goes...

 
My name is John G Hedstrom.  I am a graduate of SCSU in Saint Cloud Minnesota in Electrical Engineering.  I currently work at Great River Energy in Elk River as  Senior Programmer.  I have been hunting for 21 years in Minnesota.  I fish as well - mainly walleye.
My three main species I target are Bear, Deer, and Ruffed Grouse.  This is my first year as a bear guide.  I have been applying and hunting for bears for 6 years.  Each time I have received a tag I have taken a bear.  This year I have numerous people interested in my hunt from all over the US.  I am only taking a limited number of people - so we will see how this season pans out.  I have also developed software to manage big game hunting for guides and personal use that should be available in the fall.  My companies that I have started or plan to start in the very near future are: Castle Creek Outfitters, CCO Software, and River Valley Winery (Name may change).  My wife and I are about to plant our vinyard this week and should be up in production in 2010.
