Well it was a long quiet week here at the Grute household.  Kids were at camp and now they're back.  Picked em up yesterday afternoon.  Had a bon fire and grilled steaks.

On the way home, we stopped at a petting zoo called Fawn-Da-Rosa.  Its in St Croix Falls WI just ocross the river from Taylors Falls on Hwy 8.  They had a huge variety of animals.  Lots of deer, 2 elk, wolf, griz, porkapine......Lots and lots.  There was one that looked like a buffalo kina but smaller.  A highlander??  Thing was as gentle as a puppy.  Highly reccomend you go visit.

TONS of goats.  Check it out Mayfly.  Watch those critters for a few and maybe you'll change your mind about getting them.  They were EVERYWHERE.  Jump over any fence, eat anything...

The Griz looked scared of my kids so we left em alone.   :ROTFLMAO:  No certain animals are kept caged up so you cant get to them but see them.  We could toss treats to them which they liked.  Also pinned up were 2 wolves, 2 elk, mountain lions....Kinda cool seeing them up close.

Sounds like a pretty cool petting zoo Grute, bet the kids loved it, I know mine would.  So now that you got the kids back, does that mean no more late night pyramid building? .....hhhhmmmm...LOL!  Take Care and Have a Happy Fathers Day, you deserve it!!  GG

Yeah my pyramid got interrupted by some big crockodile tears last night so I had to boogie out of the chat but that's what Im here for.  Its so nice having them back.  Just goes to show you that you don't know what you got till its gone.

Love em as much as you can every day -- your children and parents and siblings, and friends.....Both of my parents are gone.  I tell them I love them every day and thank them for giving me a good start in life but its not the same.  I prayed for my children's safety and to enjoy camp all week.  Now that they're back home I can tell them I love them, hug them, cancel pyramid building and chat rooms to read books in dim light just to have a 9 year old climb in bed with me anyway.  Warms my heart to know Im who they come to.

We're off to see Momma Grute's Dad now.  Thank you all for your thoughts and words.  Hope you all enjoy the time with your families too.
