got out yesterday pm for some bobber fishing. Was pretty much central south part of the lake past 1 mile reef north of Izaty's and didn't do as good as expected. We were in 24ft of water and marked a few fish as we pulled up. Had a NW wind and was very light. About 8:30 it switched to SE wind and was about 5-10mph. Conditions seemed good but not many takers. Two keepers and two that went back. One 26 1/2 and a 24" tagged fish. Plenty of other boats pulled in and anchored up but gave it up right at sundown. One boat next to us dunked the net about 5 times and all 5 fish went back in the water.
Mayfly hatch was so so. If you faced the wind, you would get them in your face but facing away was just fine. I don't know if they are affecting the bite  or not. I think if you want to get your fish, don't count on bobber fishing and get out in the am and pull the mud w/lindy's. With a couple throughout the day and a couple on the bobber bite you could likely fill out if that's what you're after.
We all have three memorable trips in our lives...the first one, the last one and the next one.
