These 2 loons came over to visit me and my oldest boy yesterday out fishing on Bald Eagle.  They weren't shy at all.





This little guy kept diving so I didn't have many chances to get a pic of him:

Its the Kodak Z740.  I like it so much I got one for work too.  My kid (Swan) droped ours and broke it so Im going to get the same one again.  So yeah Im using work's camera  ;D

These birds were right next to my boat.  I bet within 5 feet at times.  There was a third one too but he didn't stick around at all.  These 2 were there for about 10 minutes and I finally said we should leave em be.

Those are some great pics brother Grute!! I am surprised that they would come with 5 feet of the boat...that's awesome!! We don't see very many loon down here in my neck of the woods very often, at least not in spots where I am. Hopefully next year I will be able to get my first boat, and then I can get out further than the dock and maybe see some!!!   ::rockon::
