My apple tree dropped a branch and I got 15 gallons of apples out of it.  THey're all small, green... not something we'd eat but the deer would love em.  Anyone that wants them can have em.  I no one wants them by Sunday night then I'll take em to work Monday where I know a spot where I can dump em for the deer there.

They are gone ;D Thanks Grute. I will return the buckets Wed or Thursday.

I have 4 apple trees in my yard and the deer eat the apples before they even hit the ground ;D They will be happy to see what I have gotten for them. Thanks from the deer as well! ;)

The deer do like them ;D Tonight I was visited by a nice 8 point and a doe. The doe stood over the apples and ate while the buck stood off a bit. Every time that the buck would come in for a snack she would charge him off. Tough doe!

Anyways.....if they keep falling I will keep taking them off your hands!  ;D

Sorry, no pics from last night. About a month ago I ran over my charger ;D and haven't got it replaced yet so no camera.....I do have a video camera though. I wasn't prepared last night but I was this morning. I was visited by a lopsided 3-4 point buck. He only has antlers on one side, can't quit get an accurate count it was pretty dark.

Looks like a 3 to me but yea too dark to tell (adjust your settings).  Let me know the next time you put out the "buffet" and I will be up there with a camera (plus zoom lense) and a video camera.

Your welcome anytime just let me know. The buffet will be there for a while. Once word gets out that the apples are there the deer will be flocking. I am also filling up the corn feeder today and buying a mineral block. Another thing I added yesterday to their dinner table was a watering hole. I took a plastic top to a sandbox and dug a hole to fit it, and filled it to the top with water. With all the small watering holes drying up i'm hoping that the deer will use this. Now all I need to do is get rid of my dog so the deer can become even more comfortable ;D
