Anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get rid of these, looking for a home remedy here. They are entering the house through a bathroom fan. Thanks in advance!~

 ??? find the exit vent from the bathroom fan ? and cover it with a piece of flexable window screen, as fiberglass type .  zip strips work great for a quick fastner and easy reversal . as far as chaseing them out try any of the blackflag wasp and hornet sprays ? but turn the fan on b4 you spray !!

 HOME DEPOT  SELLS A DI-ELECTRIC  SPRAY  THAT WORKS FOR A FEW MONTHS . THEY (THE HORNETS) TAKE IT BACK TO THEIR HOME AND IT KILLS  THE  NEST. FIND OUT WHERE THEY ARE COMING IN  AND CAULK IT  WITH A GOOD CAULK. ON THE INSIDE  SPRAY  THE  DI-ELECTRIC BUG KILLER. IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLEWITH THE SPRAY LET ME KNOW. I HAVE A CAN  LAYING AROUND.  GOOD LUCK

Secure the hose from your shop vac just below the point of entry into the vent. (duct tape works well) Turn it on and let it run for an afternoon. You should have a shop vac full of dead or nearly dead bees by the end of the day.

::cheers::

I had to do this last year when I had a nest in the soffit on my garage. It did take more than one afternoon before the bees were gone but it did work.

I personally like the idea of using the vacuum cleaner hose fastened up by the exit hole.
No danger of starting a fire by spraying something that could be flammable any where near an operating electric motor.

Heres the fix BBJ. Just consume a bunch of cheap beer. Position your rear by the exit point , hold cigarette lighter by your exit point, and let one fly. It will be just like a bunch of camacazies with there wings on fire. ::cheers::
