When I go fishing or hunting I bring my lucky?

For me it's my lucky hat, although it's gotten so grungy that at midseason I had to replace it ::

It's hard to believe, but my fishing luck never changed.


What's your lucky fishing or hunting item that you can't leave home without?

I've got this old metal tackle box that was my grandma's.  It's bulky, the paint's chippin off, theres a rust spot that looks like its rotting away and doesn't really hold that much tackle but it hold a lot of memories for me.  I got my Grandma with me every time I go out; she's the angle on my shoulder.  Guys look at it and shake their head because its so junky.  Not me.  I kinda tear up (softie.)  I've also got the last gift my Dad ever gave me.  Its an old no name rod with a Mitchlle 300 spinning reel.  I don't use it anymore like I do the tackle box but will never get rid of it.

I haven't found my lucky fishing item yet, but we have found out that I am a good luck token for Holdem; when my cell phone rings or I get a text message he gets a bite!  :rock:

When I get out with my son, I normally don't even get my line in the water because he catches fish so quickly I don't have time to... (which is fine with me). So I guess maybe I am a good luck token for him as well.... :ROTFLMAO:

I know there is no way you mean ANY disrespect Holdem', all in good fun here! I love all the joking around we can do around here, that's why this site is can be so much fun!  Just so no one thinks Im out there in an orange thong or anything, Picture them more like granny panties...I know, big turn on huh? Guess I don't take anything envolving luck, I just take the  requst that the big guy provide the meat I want and if he gives to much he shows me who to share it with. In 49 years of deer hunting that has not failed me.
