Summer vacation time
I have not been able to make it to too many get togethers or events this summer and I just wanted to share with everyone why that is, so you know.

In my job with FedEx, our fiscal year runs from June 1 - May 31 of the following year. We had to bid our vacation time, personal holidays and floating holidays for June 1 07-May 31 08 by the middle of March 07. Most of my vacation time for this fiscal year had to be used to cover my son's days off from school and a week of deer hunting at URL in Nov so I don't have much open time to play with this year.

Next year is a different story, so I look forward to making it to as many get togethers, fishing outings and hunting parties as I can.  ;D

I just wanted to put this out here so everyone knows my situation and don't start thinking that I don't want to get together. The couple of things that I have been able to attend I have had a great time and I enjoy getting together with other members and staff, I just have had very limited time to do so this year.

Well I don't take an offense to it but would like to meet up with you one day.  We were talking about going ice fishing up on URL this January at Game Fair yesterday.  Maybe if we lock it in way ahead of time we can make it happen.   ::fishing::

There will be more weekends or impromtu gathering so Im sure we'll meet up before then.

Looking forward to that day as well Grute! January is normally a pretty quiet month for me so I may be able to make it up for that ice fishing get together. Keep me posted on what dates you are looking at and i will let you know.  ;)
