Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away

If you know your land very well you can use google earth. That is how I marked my via gps and it was very very accurate. You'll have to familiarize yourself with google earth and once you know how to use all the tools you'll be right in!

That is not true. I recently just tried and tried and tried to get this and it is not free and they may not have it for you. I tried to get coordinates for an area in the metro and one just north of the metro. He offered me the coordinates for sections at $3.00 per page which does not help me or do anything for me at all. I then asked for more detail and he said I would have to have it surveyed and that costs $$$$. They aren't handing this info over the counter to you.

I resorted to Google Earth and a plat map. Worked perfect!

 ;)
