The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has established broad hunting regulation frameworks for all four flyways for the 2007-2008 migratory bird hunting seasons due to good habitat conditions and waterfowl production estimates.

And the good news is that overall breeding duck populations are up 14% for the second consecutive year!

With resident Canada Goose hunting now open in a number of states, and dove shooting underway across most of the United States, the latest hunter field reports compiled by Ducks Unlimited and Waterfowler magazines are positive.
