I went up to visit our buddy Snowshoe at the big bog state recreation area sunday.
i had to stop in the office to buy my annual sticker for my vehicle window.
while in the office, i asked if they were ready for all the excitement and stated that they must be full up for the weekend. they told me that all of the reservable sites were taken, but the non reservable sites were all open except for one.
this lit up lightbulbs in my brain.
i called my friend Joe to see if he was game, and we agreed to rent one of the spots on the water for the week, through next sunday.
it is a little on the spendy side to assure that we had a spot, but the part of me that wanted to avoid the circus, was weaker than my curiosity to see for myself, the kind of comotion that might take place.

besides, those walleyes have been such a pain in the butt for the past five years, with a limit of two, it is going to take some time to get my revenge on them, so i may as well get started now.

if anybody is looking for a site, they are still available at the campground, but you have to take the site immediately.
this may involve more days than you are willing to pay for so this option is not for everyone.

i am looking forward to walleyes for breakfast Saturday morning. :)

watch out jiggle... those wallyes you consume might count as part of your possession next year.  ;D
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

I have the motor running. I will be there at noon on Thursday for a week of much anticipated relaxation. The anxiety is extremely high. Jiggle, did you pick up that birch?

the answer to your question is no :-[
i have been so busy doig nothing, i just never got around to it :-\

i have to get a flat fixed and two new tires on my tractor for start up on the 22nd. i also need to go get hooked up to my belly trailer for next week. the window of opportunity is getting smaller, but i have done much more in much less time.

katoman, where will you be staying?
i will be in the first site on the right as you come into the campground area past the office.

I will be at Donnie H's. There is no hurry on the wood. I am thinking on my drive back I might find some. I really only need enough to fill the back of my Suburban.

I usually have a beer and keep some Morgan in case Kelly comes sneaking around.....
