I predict it will be another ugly game for the Vikings.

Anyone who thinks the Bears are out of the woods because they lucked into a win Sunday night wasn't paying attention to the first half, when they played like something that bears do in the woods. At 2-3, the Bears are alive, if not completely well, but there are still nine teams in the NFC with better records. Still, the Bears are in the midst of a stretch in which they can take control of their own destiny in the NFC North, thanks to a third consecutive game against a division foe.

The Vikings entered their bye week with a 23-16 loss against NFC North rival Green Bay. Minnesota is hoping to resume its season by avoiding a similar fate against another division foe this Sunday in Chicago. The assignment won't be an easy one for the 1-3 Vikings, who will travel to Solider Field to play a Bears team that came from behind to defeat the Packers on Sunday night. If Minnesota has any chance of saving its season, the turnaround is going to have to begin with this game.
