10/06/07 Report

Had the pleasure of fishing with Tina and Dennis on Saturday and they were great students when it came to their smallmouth assignment on this day. Tina asked questions and followed through using what she learned. Most of our smallies were caught in 18 to 35 fow.

I offered to put the crawlers on for Tina at first, but she would have none of that. She took her own hooks out to. When the 30 lb anchor got stuck in the davit Tina was right there to give it a one handed boost. When I realized how independent Tina had become, I offered her a guides position using my other Lund, but she was already settled in with a career path of her own. I wasn't able to tell all my old fishing tails since Tina already had a lot of her own fishing tails to share.

Overall it was a fun day with Dennis and Tina along with some nice smallmouth caught and unseasonably warm weather.

See ya on the water,

Lee
