cute rack fish-pro And those otter sleds are awesome for dragging deer and for loading them in the truck without blood everywhere. I have pulled out a doe and a buck in the same sled with virtually no effort . Just not any this year yet.

Here is my 1st buck ever.  9 years it took me to break the ice.  Not a monster but I was still happy considering the size antlers the bucks usually have where we hunt.

Jeffy045,
Nice buck.  Looks like you could put a saddle on him and take him for a ride.
Congrats!

Thanks TMT.

He was a good size deer.  Not bad for only 2 1/2.  If I would have known he was only 2 1/2 I would have let him walk.  Tough to make the judgment when you have about 2 seconds to decide.

I'm new to this site and this is my second deer ever.  I've only been hunting for four years but I'm completely addicted now!

All nice deer and thanks for sharing guys, always fun to se what others have gotten.
jeffy45, know what you mean about the area a buck comes from making the rack respectable compared to others. The areas I hunt will produce some big deer but small racks for the size of the deer.

Deadeye, You would be the guy that could confirm an age old curiosity for me. I have been told and always thought it to be true that deer float when dead or shot on the water because their hair is hollow. Is this the case?

The answer is yes they do float.  Proof is in the pictures.  Note: I heard they may sink if they are lung shot.  This won was not hit in the chest.

Thanks.  I could barely hold my gun steady!  My heart was in my throat.  Unbelievable how quick it all happens.

Best buck of my life by far. 230#!!   He had a broken front leg that had healed. The bone had a 3 inch dia.  He also had a 2-3 inch gash over his left eye and had 2 tines that were broken off.  Next year I will be trying to get the deer that he was fighting with
