nice, I am glad Jeff is still making a go of it.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Jeff is also custom making some very nice cedar sheds.  He cuts his own boards down from logs.  They have that fresh cedar smell to them.  They would work for ice house, shed, extra bunk house, whatever.  My folks are talking with Jeff about building one.  I spoke to Jeff over the 4th of July when I was up fishing for the week.  He seems to be hanging in there.

Another set back for Jeff today as he was clearing the snow down on the lake shore the plow truck he was using caught fire and is a total loss.
The construction of his new bait store GET LUCKY BAIT is going well and the plumber was there today. He hopes to be selling bait with in the next week or two

I hate to sound negative towards any type of business but, I hear he has had 2 homes burn down, a resort and now his plow truck, if this is all true, i am for sure not going anywhere near his fish houses or bait shop.

This guy either has the worst luck or something smells fishy to me!!!

Hey bud,
you know that or you heard that?
a very big difference, hearing that is most likely word of mouth, and it can change in a matter of minutes, and change to bad gossip faster than  the hershey squirts after a night of drinking bad beer. and if i remember right the lodge last winter had no insurance on it, so if it smells fishy to you maybe it was the crappies inside that he had hoped to have for supper. just some thoughts.

Well I can tell you one thing theres no reason he would want his plow truck to burn up?He was looking so forward to  starting his road with that truck. He had basicly everything he owned in his lodge when it burned up last year. He had no insurance,he works his a$$ off and still keeps his head up.He deserve better.

I had stopped at Jeff's lodge several times before it burned last winter.  He put his heart, soul and everything else he had into that place.  It was pretty impressive.  I have spoken with Jeff many times, and he is a very nice man.  I feel so bad that he has had bad things happen to him.  I pray his luck will change for the better.  He has stayed positive and keeps plugging along.  Let's not start any rumors about a guy down on his luck.

Hang in there Jeff!

Is it not a fact that the lodge burned down a year ago?

Is it not a fact that his home burned down before that?

Is it not a fact that his plow truck just burned up?

Jeff has admitted all of this himself in person and on some of these forum boards.

Don't tell me i'm starting rumors, when it came from the horses mouth! These are not rumors, they are facts from Jeff himself. All I said in my firts post was he has some bad luck with fires and I am personally stayin away from him and his businesses, for fear of my life and safety. on purpose or not, he has had to many fires in his lifetime. I am not bashing anyone either. just staiting some facts. I still think something is fishy, but that is my opinion.

do your homework first. before you accuse me of starting rumors. Thanks and sorry to Jeff for his poor luck, i sincerely would not wish that upon anyone

Bud--Bud-- Bud!!!

keep the pile of rocks in your own yard your throwing and you will be safe!!!

I see no where in your reports --anything that says thanks to anyone for reports given, ice and road conditions, service-- a thanks for people dropping there plow trucks through to make your life easier to go fishing

as you said--""im going to stay away from YOU so my life is never filled with rocks to throw""

I don't know Jeff personally, but I have heard nothing but great things about him from OJ in the past. Anyone who can keep their chin up and their shoulder to the wheel after the unfortunate events that he has been through has my respect and admiration!  ;)
