:help:Was wondering if anyone could tell me the approximate value os a 4 year old PSE bow? It is a "game sport" and is in very good condition. Comes withe quiver, release and hardcase. My buddy bought a new Matthews and wants to sell me the PSE, wants me to come up with a price and go from there. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thanx!

I don't know what the "book"value of the bow would be, but I always say, it's worth what ever you can get for it.
to figure out what they are going for on the open market, which essentially what you would be able to get for it, I go to archery talk dot com and look in the classifieds.
just do a search in the "bows for sale category for your make of bow. then look at what they were asking, and if it sold or not.
that is the best barometer for estimating the bow's market value, I know of.
remember, you will get your best price before season.
good luck, Jigglestick

I know the PSE Nova "Gamesport" sold as a package for about $300 5 years ago.

So, assuming the bow comes with a decent rest, site and quiver and the string is in great condition, I'd offer him between $25-$40, when you throw in the case and release, your in the $50-$75 range.

If he wants anything more than $50-$75, I personally would pass and go to an archery shop and get a used package with a limited warranty for $100 or a little more.
