December 14 - I went out to the flats this morning and found a lot less snow and a lot more ice, I couldn't find any snow drifts over 6 inches and any ice less than 10 inches. We still have a lot of snow in close though and  only 7 1/2 inches of ice in most places where the water is less than 28 feet deep.  Once we do start to pull houses we will be going to the flats right away. There has not been anyone fishing really, I only know of one person that has been going out this week. He caught a few fish each day but nothing really special, so I would have to say its a little slow. This really cold weather can't be helping the fish bite.

We now have a road plowed to the first sand break.
