Exactly. That is Centerville on that side of the road and Peltier is on the other side.

Waterworks is closed and I thought the road to the county park was also. With the no parking by the waterworks and road there how are you guys getting on?

I'm on my way there now, I'll let you know the parking situation later tonight. I just talked with Repo on the phone and he said they were parking at Waterworks, but there were a lot of cars on the ice.

Not me!!! I'll park and walk otherwise I'll go across the road to Peltier.

No problem driving down the road to Waterworks, the bar is closed but there is still parking for maybe a dozen trucks, maybe more? The park gate was closed and I'm not sure of the staus there, but i would guess it will not be open until the main road is opened again. Maybe they open it on weekdays and Saturday though?

A lot of people were driving on the lake in full sized trucks, not a good idea when there was only 9 inches of ice and 4 inches of slushy snow on top.

I'll stick to walking on for a while!!!

Thanks Pat
My neighbor was down there this summer and talked with one of the local militia and I am under the impression that parking wasn't allowed at waterworks but who knows? I would like to get back down there I aint been on centerville since this spring. Was your trip productful?

When I arrived, there was around 6-7 vehicles in the lot and another half dozen on the ice, the access was in great shape too. Didn't see any no parking signs anywhere either. I left the lake at 10:30 pm and i was the only one in the lot besides Repoman, they stayed longer than I did.

On the fishing side, the Crappies bit all night long, more if you were moving around. They seemed to be on the move, I'd catch a couple and then nothing for 10-15 minutes, catch 1 or 2 more and nothing again, that went on all night. I constantly read fish on the LX5 though.

Nothing of any size though, most were half pound only, I did get one sunfish too, no Walleyes. Plenty of action, but nothing of any size. I released all my fish and will be trying again tomorrow, maybe somewhere else. Most were caught on minnows and a white or red Frostee. I did catch a few with some red Gulp.
